Actively manage and support Naval Acquisition Manager in the Configuration Management field, including configuration and data management disciplines . Perform configuration management support
including, but not limited to, CM/DM policies and procedures, managing the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process, maintaining internal Task Management Operating Procedures (TMOPs), and managing the Configuration Control Baseline (CCBL) documentation. Technical duties
include responding to ECP inquires, cost requests, validation of the CM/DM database, technical research and analyses, and responding to emergent requests in support of stakeholders. Maintain, analyze,
and update CM/DM policies and procedures.
Manage the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process, and the associated Configuration Control Baseline (CCBL) documentation, including baseline development, implementation and audits.
Oversee tracking Government Furnished Information.
Manage the Contract Document Requirement List (CDRL) process, CDRL submittal/review process.
Maintaining the CM/DM database.
Required Skills and Education
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Required education: Bachelor Degree
BS in Management, Business, Information Systems, or Engineering Discipline
Minimum 10 years working knowledge of configuration management procedures
Knowledge of CM/DM Policy and procedures in areas such as, but not limited to: Level III/IV ECP Processes, Contract level documentation, Implementation tracking and auditing, baseline management, Navy pricing definitions, CDRL processing, and Class Standard Equipment (CSE) process
Knowledge of CM/DM Policy and procedures relating to Field Activities (e.g. SUPSHIP)
Ability to travel for Ship Program Review (SPR) Top Tech Issues, Acceptance , and Sea Trials
Superior organizational skills and detail oriented
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications
Preferred Skills and Education
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with NAVSEA, Acquisition Program Office, SUPSHIP and/or NSWC
Excellent interpersonal skills
Oracle or relational
database experience
